Who and when?

Arrive at school at 8:30, meet in class and depart at approximately 9:00am.

Parents accompanying classes should park in the Church carpark across the road from the marae and by the second powerpole away from the corner in the road.

Please do bring some home baking/ fruit to share for morning and afternoon teas. If your child has a food allergy or special dietary requirements please ensure that their food is in a clearly labelled container.

Bag or small case containing.

  • Large plastic bag for dirty or wet clothing
  • Sleeping bag or sheets and blanket
  • Single sheet (to cover mattress)
  • Pillow and pillow case
  • One towel, swimsuit and plastic bag
  • Shorts/shirts
  • Sweatshirts or fleece jackets or jersey
  • Jeans, trousers or sweatpants
  • Underwear, socks
  • Sports shoes or similar, jandals or sandals
  • Pyjamas
  • Tissues - small packet for personal use, toiletry gear - which needs to include soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, facecloth, comb/hairbrush
  • Torch

On the day

​

A backpack which each student will keep with them on the first day. This bag should contain:

  • Morning tea, lunch and a filled named drink bottle for the first day of the camp. Please make sure this is easily accessible and named (a disposable paper would be better than a lunchbox).
  • Raincoat – if wet weather
  • Sunhat
  • Sunblock
