• Scheduled Delta courses in the Senior Year (Both Terms).

Fall Early Assessment Data

• Participation: 35% of students K-2 completed all grade level assessment.

*A student was considered “Completed” if they were administered all CORE recommended assessments for their grade level.

CORE Results

• Benchmarks met: 20% of assessments

resulted in Benchmark.

K-3 SIPPS Data Summary

For the 2023-2024 academic school year, 3,738 students in K-3 were tested with SIPPS placements.

• 73% of students (2,716) tested within recommended SIPPS intervention groups
• 16% tested as were not ready
• 11% tested as “may not need Challenge Level”

SIPPS Placement 4-12

For the 2023-2024 academic school year, 509 students in 4-12 were tested with SIPPS PLUS Placement.

• 67% of students (341) tested within recommended SIPPS intervention groups
• 33% of students (168) tested as “may not need Challenge Level”

SIPPS Mastery Tests

4,379 Mastery Tests have been administered to 1,855 students*, with the breakdown by Level as followed:

• 44% Beginning Level
• 49% Extension Level
• 7% Challenge Level

Average passing rate is 72%

SIPPS Cohort Plan Goals

Goal 1: Build Capacity with Site Leadership and job embedded support providers

Goal 2: Identify Cohorts of Schools for targeted and differentiated ongoing professional learning

Goal 3: Building knowledge to capture K-3 formative SIPPS data electronically (with a focus on K-1) to inform instruction

• Administrator Professional Learning: 4 half days for principals and assistant principals w/CORE consultant
• Curriculum Specialist capacity building with CORE consultant
• Program Specialists/Instructional Coaches Professional Learning monthly
• Ongoing Professional Learning Opportunities for Teachers
• Classroom walks with leadership with look-for documents for SIPPS
• Curriculum Team to continue planning ongoing professional learning for Years Two & Three

Right to Read Update

• Community screening at Franklin on 1/24 sponsored by Lexia
• Community screening at Chavez on 1/25 sponsored by TCM
• Will make available to K-8s for their Literacy Nights
