Mixing Paint
In Art Class, each student is picking 2 or 3 colors to mix into exactly 1 whole cup of paint. The art teacher has put out all of the colors with a label saying how much he has.
Determine which 2 or 3 colors each student mixed to make exactly 1 whole cup. Show your work and explain your thinking with manipulatives, numbers, equations, or drawings.
