Data Quality Improvement

Migrate all the data to one centralized database.

    • Focus only on fixing the dataset relevant to your modus operandi and leave the rest as it is.
    • Assess the manpower needed to re-structure and migrate the data to a centralized database how much time is required. For example, if it takes a month to cross-check, clean and remove duplicates from a 1000-row database, look for a faster and automated solution.
    • Include metadata in your data to describe and enhance it in the context of who, what, where, why, when, and how.
    • Perform the following data quality checks (the effective and cost-efficient way would be through automation):

Identification of duplicates/overlaps for uniqueness

Examining required fields, null values, and missing values can help you find and fix data incompleteness issues.

Check data recency or freshness by looking at how recently it was updated or when.

Applying formatting checks for consistency.

Assessing the range of values for validity.

Conclusion

The market share of 10% seems achievable with the combination of organic and inorganic growth.

Strategic moves include offering the home insurance product to mortgage clients and creating sales funnel from the mobile banking app.

Chat bot and automatic request form will save money on human resources now and in the future when the client get more customers.

The client would require to invest anywhere between 20,000 dollar to 80,000 dollar for Chat Bot which will result in cost reduction by at least 20% as contact centre is the major cost component. So with the 20% cost reduction the payback period can be around three years.

The acquisition cost of AA insurance is around 219 million (around 10-15% premium of its market capitalization). The payback period of that including the cost reduction due to synergy can be estimated around 3-4 years.
