Dilexi Te is the sequel to Francis’ final formal communication to the church: Dilexit Nos, from 2024.

It can be understood as a document that captures what it means for Leo to have received the baton that Francis passed on to him (2 Timothy 2:2).

to call the whole Church to rediscover that love for the poor is the heart of Christian holiness, not a peripheral concern or optional social commitment.
