What are Add-Ons? They are new tools created by developer partners that give you even more features in your documents and spreadsheets.
Google Drive has enabled Google Add Ons and there are some that you and your students will want to enable right away. Others may appeal more to professional developers.

Tool 2: Chrome Extensions
Apps and Extensions are found in the Chrome Web Store, where you can also find add-ons and apps. You can Google terms like “best Chrome extensions for teachers” and find so many articles on the topic, or pose the question on Twitter which is where you can get other cool ideas from. Tool 3: Bookmarking
The greatest thing about chrome is you can bookmark your favorite websites and tool and whenever you sign into chrome your bookmarks will appear in your toolbar.

Tool 4: Adding Fonts
To access and add custom fonts to your Google Drive Documents and Slides select "add fonts" from the bottom of the font selection menu that you've always used in Google Drive. Selecting "add fonts" will open up a new menu in which you can mix and match fonts to your heart's content. The screenshots below provide visual directions.
