MÉXICO IN 2025 – THE NEED

According to the etnopedia.org website, in Mexico there are 344 indigenous ethnic groups, of which 32 do not have access to the gospel, these 32 ethnic groups represent 130,598 people in Mexico and are considered "unreached people" *

REACHED PEOPLE

People groups with a population of more than 2% indigenous (local) evangelical believers who can evangelize and disciple the remaining non-believers.

UNREACHED PEOPLE

People groups where there is no indigenous Christian community with an adequate number of people and resources to be able to evangelize their own people (less than 2% evangelicals)

MÉXICO IN 2025 – THE OPPORTUNITY

• 1,495 evangelical churches registered in Mexico City, we must also consider those churches that are not registered with the The National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI)
• In all of Mexico there are 110,000 registered churches, according to INEGI
• It is ambitious to propose, but we can say that the Mexican churches could finish with the Great Commission in Mexico without help from abroad if they envision it

• Persecution from and Competition with Catholic tradition
• The larger church in Mexico does not consider that the rural church has an important part in the Great Commission when in fact the example of doing church is very simple, according to Acts 2:42.

THE ENDS OF THE EARTH

The vast majority of unreached people live in an area of the world called “The 10/40 Window”, of the 3 billion unreached people, approximately 97% live in this Window and less than 1% in North and South America combined.

• The main religions in the 10/40 are Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Animism and Atheist.
