* Please ensure your child is charging their Chromebook every night and bringing it to school every day.

* Your child has an ID badge on their bookbag. It is very important for this tag to stay on their book bag. If your child breaks the ID or loses it, it will be $5 to replace and it must be replaced.
* In order to come eat lunch with your child you will need to have Level II Volunteer Status. This could take up to 3 weeks to process so please fill it out as soon as you can. You also have to be Level II to chaperone any field trip. To become a Level II volunteer, please complete the GCS application, linked here.
Math: We will practice telling time to the hour and half hour. Homework:Time to Measure worksheet
Reading: We will learn about authors and illustrators by reading their books and discussing our favorite characters.
Writing: We will continue with opinion writing. Disguise your turkey so he/she will not get eaten at Thanksgiving
Word Study: We will be studying words that make the soft c /s/ sound as in circle and race and the soft g /jj/ sound as in gym and edge.
Science: We will learn about the first Thanksgiving and what life was like as pilgrims.
