Water sports: swimmingWhy is swimming good for you? By:Tedi

As well as being fun, swimming is a great way to keep fit and make friends. Swimming is a healthy activity that you can continue for a lifetime. Make sure know how to swim with the correct technique and do it in a safe environment. Swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of water. It also keeps your heart rate up, but takes some of the stress off, builds endurance, muscle strength and helps you maintain a healthy weight.

Water hobbies: scuba divingBy:Vladi

Scuba diving is an interesting hobby that not many people do. It’s really cool and you get to see a lot of beautiful things down there – if you go to the right places you’ll see mesmerizing corals and a lot of different species of fish and other sea creatures. With a guide, scuba diving is completely safe, but experts who go really deep have to use a special type of gas to avoid the narcotic effect, which occurs when going deep. They also have to be careful to come back up slowly, because when you go up, nitrogen bubbles form in your blood, and if you go up fast those bubbles pop, and may cause major injuries or even death.

Dolphins: How to protect the dolphins?By: Aleks

A dolphin is an aquatic mammal that uses its teeth to capture fast moving animals. Dolphins have well developed hearing, which is adapted for both air and water. In fact, it is so well developed, that some can survive even if they are blind. Some species are well adapted for diving to great depths. Even though, they are not quite as flexible as a seal, they are faster - some dolphins can move at a speed of 29 km/h.

Make sure you don't pollute the ocean - don't throw plastic bags and other rubbish anywhere but in a bin, even on land. An amazing number of them end up in the ocean. Floating plastic bags often look very similar to squid, and many dolphins eat them.

So, keep the ocean clean, so that the animals can live!

Protect the ocean!By:Dani

To protect the ocean people should stop throwing away their trash in the water, because it affects the marine life. For example, if you throw a plastic bag and a turtle tries to eat it, thinking it’s a jellyfish, it can die of suffocation.

Another way we can protect the ocean is to fish responsibly. It is a serious problem, and if overfishing doesn’t stop, the world could run out of seafood, as we know by 2048, which will lead to a massive ecological imbalance

ShipsBy : Mitko V.

Ships are big boats that carry people or cargo. They were created in the 4th millennium BC in Mesopotamia. The front of the ship is called "the bow", the back is "the stern", the left is "the port side" and the right side is "starboat". The most popular ship, which is also my favorite, is the Titanic - it crashed into an iceberg in 1912. It was the biggest and most impressive of that time.

“In the heart of the sea”: film reviewBy:Mitko A.

“In the heart of the sea” is an adventure-drama coproduction, which is based on Nathaniel Philbrick’s novel with the same title. The movie was filmed in 2015 in Spain and the USA. It’s very much worth watching because of the plot, which received very good critics. The scenario follows the story of a group of sailors whose ship gets flipped over by a whale. As they’re starving and caught by huge storms many times, they must stay alive. There are many things which I found inspiring, but the main ones were the acting skill of the actors, the way the movie was filmed and the beautiful soundtrack.

“Subnautica ”: video game reviewBy:Vladi

“Subnautica” is an action-adventure game made by Unknown Worlds Entertainment, available on Xbox, PS4,PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. You play the role of the maintenance chief of a spacecraft, named Riley Robinson, who crash-lands on a planet fully covered in water, named 4546B, along with a 100 other people. Riley finds himself completely alone in a lifepod with a radio to receive messages from other survivors (later he finds out they are all dead for various different reasons) and a constructor to build tools with. His goal is to escape the planet and tell the company what happened. On his journey, though, he finds a deadly virus which was killing the planet, and gets infected, so he has a second thing to do: find a cure for the virus. The story aside the gameplay is very interesting and there is a lot of suspense, because deadly sea monsters roam in some of the areas you have to go to.In my opinion, this game is a 10/10 , it’s my favorite game and I defiantly recommend it.
