Masks in the Classroom

​

• Students must wear a mask at all times in the class.
• All desks are just 1.0 meter apart.
• Depending on the temperature, all windows will be open.
• We now have an air filter in the room running at all times.

Hand Sanitization

​

• There is hand sanitizer mounted next to the classroom door.

​

• Students are encouraged to sanitize their hands frequently (upon entering or leaving class, after sharing materials, etc.)

Course Evaluation

Evaluations

​

• Each unit will have a minimum of 1 In-Class Assignment, Lab, and a Test.
• For each unit students will also be expected to submit a portfolio of work consisting of problems that were assigned.
• If there is a final exam (waiting on word from the department of education), it will be a comprehensive exam covering the whole course.

Google Classroom

​

All Class work, assignments, due dates, etc. are posted in the GOOGLE CLASSROOM.

Students are expected to check the Google Classroom each class to access the day’s lesson.

Classroom Expectations

​

• Be on time for class and ready with necessary materials (binder, pens, texts, etc.)
• PUT AWAY THE PHONE! Phones are generally not permitted (there are exceptions for certain activities)
• Respect for self, others, & classroom
• Students must take responsibility for making making up for missed work (i.e. vacations, illness, school events, etc.)
• Assessment and evaluation policy (-5% penalty for the first 3 days late).
• Do your best!
• Follow School’s Routines (hall passes, fire drills, textbook return, etc.)
