What is going on?

The people you see using % to chat are some chill people who just want to filter away spam and talk to other people using the same “private” channel.

To do this, an extension for Robin called Robin-Grow (https://github.com/vartan/robin-grow) automatically filters out private channel handles. also adds in a bunch of cool stuff.

Some minigame bots also put special characters that facilitate the usage of private channels, such as #. most commonly, % is used for normal chat.

Other extensions exist, but for this tutorial we will be using Robin-Grow as an example.

How do I hop in on this boat of fun?

Step 1 : If you’re on Chrome, get Tampermonkey. If you’re on Firefox, get Greasemonkey. If you’re on Opera, get other tampermonkey. If you’re on IE, you really should get another browser, but if you really want to use it, click here. If you’re on Edge, you have to use another browser.

Step 2: Go on to Robin-Grow

Step 3: On the monkey face on Tamper/Greasemonkey, go to add new script

Step 4: Copy paste whatever is on the robin-grow link (note: it may also auto-install. That’s fine too.

Step 5: Refresh your robin room. Under settings, set the channel handle to whatever you desire. Don’t forget to tick the filter by channel tick box.
