Safety is Paramount

  • All team members will complete safety training.
  • You must pass a safety quiz before you can use any tools in the shop.
  • NEVER feel pressured to use any tool or machine. If you don’t feel comfortable using it, you do not need to use it!
  • Safety glasses at all times.
  • Keep hands away from moving parts.
  • When a robot is enabled, step back, keep hands away.
  • Clean up before the end of each session. Clean Space = Safe Space
  • No horseplay
  • Slow down, think before you work on anything.

Tools & Materials

Be respectful of all tools in the workshop.

Most tools and parts (even the small ones) are more expensive than you may realize.

If you use a tool, put it back in the right place when you are done using it.

If you have free time, you can help the team by organizing loose parts & returning tools that have been left out.
