Writing Module

1) The teacher states that the students will be divided into groups and write stories.

2) The teacher gives each group 1 blank page (the paper is used horizontally).

3) Students are asked to determine the main topic or title of the story together and write it in the middle of the paper.

4) The group writes down whatever comes to their minds about the subject and circles it on the page.

5) The groups are asked to state, which of the idea sets they would like to use for the story to be written.

6) The teacher reminds students of narrative text elements.

7) The importance of using proverbs, idioms and aphorisms to enrich the story is emphasized.

8) Groups write the story.

9) Written stories are shared in order.

10) The groups make the necessary adjustments in line with the feedbacks.

In this study, students are expected to;

• write an original narrative text,
• use proverbs and idioms,
• edit what they wrote,
• share what they wrote,
• collaborate with their friends in the activity.
