Math | Students will continue working in Unit 3, Stories with addition and subtraction. This week students will focus on estimating and rounding numbers as well as adding and subtracting with regrouping using various methods. |
ELA | We will begin our new module this week, Adaptations and the Wide World of Frogs. In this unit, students will read poetry, read and write a pourquoi tale, and learn how to use literacy to become an expert and share their knowledge about a topic. |
Science | We will continue to work in our unit on States of Matter: Structures, Property, and Changes. Students will learn about the properties of solids, liquids, and gases, and the changes they undergo. |

Career Day: Students will visit with parents that will be sharing information about their careers. This will be a great learning experience for the students.
Curriculum Night: Please join us as we host a Curriculum Night on October 13th. We will provide information about our 3rd grade curriculum, field trips, and our students learning.
