Baptism:

  • Takes away my original sin and gives me a new nature/pure nature

After Baptism:

  • I am called a son/daughter of God

  • They give me a new birth certificate

Chrismation/Holy Myron

  • Consecrates my body, my soul, and and my spirit

  • My body so sin can not overcome me
  • My soul is happy, confident, active, engaged, persistent, and successful
  • My spirit directs me to a spiritual life to attend liturgy, spiritual meetings, hymns classes, etc.

  • There is no room for sin in my thoughts
  • There is no jealousy, anger, revenge, pride, lust, lies, stealing, etc.

    • Joseph’s brothers were thinking about how to get rid of him

    • The pharisees and scribes was thinking of how to kill Jesus

  • All of my feelings are noble and pure
  • I love everyone around me
  • I help anyone in need
