Important Dates and Information

  • Selection sheets on Infinite Campus will open on January 24
  • Students will select their campus as well as indicate interest in a special program (Marist, West or PTECH) by February 14 in Infinite Campus
  • An application for the special program will be emailed to those interested students on February 15
  • Students will be assigned a campus (Main or North) based on selection sheet by March 4
  • Applications for special programs will be due by March 1
  • Selection for special programs will be made and communicated to registration by March 18
  • Adjustments will be made to student campus assignment based on selection to special program
  • All selections will be recorded, finalized and communicated by March 25th

Our award-winning video production program is a hands-on, project-driven course. The required projects, activities, and lessons will introduce students to many of the processes commonly found within the communications industry. Lessons, demonstrations, and required projects are completed and aired on our television system (GBTV) and district website.

Residential Electronics: This program gives our students an opportunity to explore the world of residential electronics. They will have access to industry standard tools and materials. They will learn how to problem solve and design electrical circuits and apply their ideas in real life situations.

The Air Force Junior Reserve Training Corps pathway program is designed to build citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community.

Because the U.S. Air Force governs the program, the citizenship training is conducted under the framework of an aerospace science program designed for high school students.

Newburgh Enlarged City School District

Marist Early College High School

The Newburgh Enlarged City School District has partnered with Marist College to create a seamless and innovative program focused on workplace learning and STEM academic content, with a focus in computer science.

The NECSD Marist ECHS will focus on building strong academic and organizational skills, self-evaluation to identify personal strengths and challenges, short- and long-term goal setting, and the development of persistence. This will be accomplished through a rigorous and dynamic curriculum that emphasizes learning in an advanced technology environment meant to simulate real-world situations.

Students that are in the Marist ECHS program will have an opportunity to earn 26 Marist College credits over their four years in high school.

The NECSD Marist ECHS program will be open to 30 rising 8th grade students. Students that a chosen to participate in the program will be enrolled at NFA Main Campus. If interested, there is a supplemental application students will be required to complete.
