Mission

The Boulder Road Runners was formed in 1979 to encourage and

promote running, walking, and fitness-related activities for people of all ages and abilities, from the casual recreational runner to the serious competitor.

Ideas for new club activities are always welcome and the involvement of members is encouraged. Membership helps fund our programs that support our running community.

Club Structure

  • RRCA Affiliated Club (Road Runners Club of America)
  • Not for Profit Status (501c3)
  • Provide BRR with General Liability, D&O insurance
  • BRR must remain compliant with RRCA bylaws and policies

  • Founded in 1958
  • Over 1500 running club and event members representing 200,000 individual runners

    • Now current on Federal Tax Return for 2020 (delayed) and 2021

      • Resolved fine and notice of lien by City of Boulder for unreported 2020 Sales Tax
      • Filed 2021 Sales Tax report
    • Reimbursed all 2021 expenses to Club Teams
