Tracing LDS Ancestors

TRACING LDS FAMILIES is a BEGINNING level class taught by Sister Joanne Hanson in 5 sessions for 1.5 hour each. A $3.00 materials fee is charged. Prerequisites and supplies needed:

  • basic computer skills
  • family information on a pedigree chart, including names, dates, and places
  • a flash drive
  • FamilySearch account.

Using the Research Guide, you will learn to locate LDS family records available in microfilms, books, and computer databases (LDS ward records, LDS church census, histories, etc.)
