What to do? General Tips�

  • Use a real dictionary, when possible.
  • Read the whole sentence�and identify the part of speech.
  • Always look up base form:
  • Verbs – V1 (without s, ed, ing)
  • Nouns – only singular (without s)
  • Adjectives – base form (without er, est)
  • Make sure the meaning makes sense in the sentence! There’s always more than one meaning to choose from!
