Methodological underpinning – Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT)��Conscious understanding of how students learn placed in context�Data led with a focus on transparent instruction and assessment design�Transparency based on purpose, task and criteria for success (TILT project)�Active learning (Fukuda)�Engagement through partnership (Bryson)��Students as co-creators – they process the educational material and articulate its relevance, making decisions and understanding the material in the context of the assessment and their own lives�Students make use of the module knowledge to resolve either pre-identified problems or issues developed through a diagnostic process. Reference to exemplar modules in advanced selection and consultancy.

LJMU focuses on student-centred pedagogy and the established Teaching and Learning Academy helps contextualise teaching strategy in a cross-disciplinary manner to build the competency of academic teaching staff.

Pedagogical Experience at LJMU
For ten days two participants from each PC partner will have intensive and immersive training
Involvement with the tutor and student groups involved in the innovative assessment practices focusing on knowledge, skills and behaviours.
The involvement of students in their learning journey will be examined from the point of curriculum design and validation, through processes, modules and learning outcomes to delivery and assessment. Expect active participation!!
