What do I need to complete the FAFSA or CADAA?

  • FSA ID/Account (one for student AND one for parent)
  • Full legal name
  • Student and Parent Dates of Birth
  • Social Security Number (if you have one)
  • Parent Marital Status and Dates
  • 2023 Income Info (1040s and W-2s)
  • Records of untaxed income and savings balances

***You can still get started if you do not have all this info!***

FAFSA

  • For students who are US citizens or eligible non-citizens

CADAA

  • For students with no Social Security number
  • For students with TPS Status, U Visa, and/or AB540 status

    • One application for over 100 scholarships for student in SD county
  • Community Scholarship Informational coming January 28th in the SCHS Counseling Center during lunch. Students must register to attend. Space is limited.
  • Assistance League North Coast Scholarship Informational coming January 21st in the SCHS Counseling Center during lunch. Registration required.
