Parent / Community Involvement

Community Support:

We are grateful for the following community members, who joined us (for Read Across America Day) on March 2nd:

Tara Jaramillo, Michael Hargather, David Hicks, Gail Armstrong, Jimmy Caps, Forrie Smith, James Nance, Maureen Wilks, Carl Quintana, Denise Cannon, and Ron Hendrix

Jump Rope for Heart:

Our Jump Rope for Heart was extremely successful! We had roughly 25 family/community members in attendance. Our students raised $1,411.30 to be donated to the American Heart Association.

Parent Advisory Committee Meetings: Our PAC meetings continue to go well as we continue to have 15-20 people, regularly in attendance for our monthly meetings. During our PAC meeting for the month of March, families had the opportunity to provide input for Midway’s annual budget meeting.
