Berlin-born singer and composer Nicky Wuchinger (formerly of Drac Attack!) discovered Jean-Marc Perc through a serendipitous YouTube comment on Perc’s solo project, The Last Cell. Intrigued by his sound, Nicky reached out, and soon made the trip to Vienna to collaborate. Originally planning to work on a new Drac Attack! album, the duo’s chemistry transformed the project into something entirely new. Their combined influences—ranging from progressive rock and sci-fi metal to electronic and cinematic soundscapes—pushed them to form Machines Alive

We wrote "Machines Alive" as a metaphor for modern life, where we’re deeply intertwined with technology that often feels like it has a life of its own. It captures that feeling of navigating something much larger and more complex than we can understand — like time, technology, or even fate itself. The song touches on leadership, fear of failure, and the quest for connection in a world that can feel mechanical and cold.

"Machines Alive" , 1st single of the upcoming album, was inspired by the feeling of being lost in a rapidly evolving world, where technology advances faster than human understanding.it tells the story of two brothers lost in a mysterious, futuristic world where technology and time itself have become fractured.
