Current & Upcoming Fundraisers

It’s hard to believe that an estimated 600 million pairs of shoes go into America’s landfills every year! 100% of these shoes can be recycled, and most can still be reused. That’s why we have started a sneaker drive fundraiser with GotSneakers. The sneakers that we collect through the GotSneakers program will help us raise much-needed funds AND will keep sneakers out of landfills. Talk about a win-win!

Can you collect 15-20 pairs of sneakers to help us out? With your help, we can achieve great results! If you can’t collect 15-20 pairs, don’t worry. Just collect as many as you can. Every pair counts!

We have a blue box set up in the front alcove at school where you can drop off your old sneakers. Make sure to sign the box too!

Proposed: Tattoo a Teacher

  • This pricing tier has worked really well in other schools:
    • Small tattoo...$1
    • Medium tattoo...$3
    • Large tattoo...$5
  • Decide if you'll also have a “tattoo booth” on-site during school where students can purchase last-minute tattoos for teachers on the spot to up the ante. Make sure you order enough "extra" tattoos to cover on-the-spot ordering.
  • Offer a prize for the teacher or staff member who gets the most tattoos!

48 of 52

Proposed: Stuffie Sleepover

  • Invite students to bring a stuffed animal (with their name tag on it) to school to spend the night.
  • The going rate these days is around $10/animal and $5 extra for a printed souvenir photo.
  • Here's how a stuffie sleepover works:
    • After saying their goodbyes, volunteers place stuffed animals around the school doing fun things and snap pics of them. Tip: enlist the help of a few older middle/high school student volunteers.
    • Before the night is over, have volunteers place stuffed animals at desks in classrooms, eagerly waiting for students' arrival the next day.
    • Invite students to wear their PJs to school!

49 of 52

Proposed: Stuff-a-Husky

  • Typically schools will charge $20 - $25 per mascot kit and realize a profit of $5 - $10.
  • Have your mascot attend!
  • Supplies
    • No-sew mascots (about $10)
    • Stuffing
    • Optional: stuffed animal-sized t-shirts with school logo
    • Birth certificates, a "stuffing station" sign and a "naming station" sign
    • Photo booth supplies: set up a photo station where students can pose with their stuffie for a pic.
