Your School Day

Daily Essentials

  • Fully charged laptop + charger
  • School planner (required for checking out lunch equipment)
  • Light backpack - most textbooks are online now!

School Hours

Start: 8:00 AM (First bell rings at 7:55 AM)

End: 2:45 PM (Thursdays: 12:35 PM - early dismissal)

"A/B Week" schedule - If you're unsure which week it is, just ask your teacher!

All students follow a six period day schedule with an A and B week.

12 of 54

Student Safety

If you ride your bike, scooter, or skateboard, you MUST be wearing a helmet.

Please also use a lock to safely secure your property.

13 of 54

What to Leave at Home

These rules help keep our campus clean, safe, and focused on learning!

Snacks to Skip

Gum, candy, and energy drinks should stay at home. They can create messes and distractions in class.

No Permanent Markers

These can damage school property and are too often used inappropriately. Use approved school supplies instead.

Approved Equipment Only

Only tennis balls are allowed for recess games. Other sports equipment need to stay home to prevent accidents.

14 of 54

Phones Off, Brains On

The Rules

  • Phones OFF & in your backpack 8:00–2:45
  • Same rule applies for smart watches
  • Chromebooks for school use only

Why This Matters

So you can focus on learning & making real connections with friends!

Repeated misuse → device may be taken until end of day

15 of 54

Arrival To School

Arrive between 7:30–7:55AM to get settled before class begins.

The more you attend, the more you learn! Regular attendance is directly linked to better grades and stronger social connections.

Tardy Policy

3+ tardies to the same class = after-school detention

Repeated tardiness impacts your learning and disrupts the class.
