CHARACTER PAGE #02

FERVOR is a character page — a custom page you can use to showcase your favorite characters, biases, OCs, etc. You can also use this as a family/network page to display your close friends, group members, etc. FERVOR is *not* a theme; your blog posts will not show.

If you want to use the normal version:

1. Go to your customize page: https://tumblr.com/customize/your-blog-name�(replace your-blog-name with the name of your blog that you want to use Fervor on)�
2. Scroll down to the very bottom and click Add a Page�
3. Click on Standard Layout and choose Custom Layout�
4. Click where url is and give your page a link name, e.g. my-ocs�
5. Click on the big blank space and paste in the code you copied from the pastebin site�(from previous slide)�
6. Click Update Preview�
7. Click Save.�
8. Most options can be edited under a list called :root�bring up the searchbar by clicking anywhere in the code, and Ctrl+F (CMD+F for Mac)�type :root and press Enter.�
9. I have placed donuts & hearts throughout the code; when you find them, what you need to edit is nearby!

A little label text is attached to it, you can change what it says here:

• text offset is how long the connection lines are
• text anchor color is the color of those lines

To change how they look:

If you want to change them, or add to them:

This is your description box:

To change the font size, box padding, spacing,�colors, etc:

If your text is longer than this height, a scrollbar will be automatically added for you.�

If you want to make the box taller, you can sacrifice the long bar (and its label text). To do this, remove the following:

CHARACTERS – part 1: LAYOUT

If you want to change how wide each character box is, change the total width of the container:

CHARACTERS – part 2: ICON IMAGE

For the icon image:

If you want your character to have a link (e.g. to another blog or a wiki page), it will appear as an overlay with an eye icon when you hover over it.

keeping ^this line will automatically add the link overlay for you. if you don't want a link, delete that line!

If you want to change the "eye" icon to something else:

1. go to https://systemuicons.com/
2. decide which icon you want to use,�but DON'T click on it
3. remember its name and replace it here,�between the quotation marks

CHARACTERS – part 3: TEXT INFO

you can edit, add, or remove any parts that you don't want, but I recommend keeping the character name at the very least.

CUSTOM LINKS

You can have as many links as you want, but please do not remove the credit at the end.
