I’m not sure why the lines are red instead of green. I also can not get the graphs to show up on the rhino screen.

Ladybug 0.0.68 seems to be buggy, just download the latest version, 0.0.69.

Ladybug 0.0.68 seems to be buggy, just download the

latest version, 0.0.69 and drop the updated components

Using the Wind Rose

Q:When I plug it in like this the wind rose component is failing. What am I doing wrong?

8

A: It seems you have components that are older.

Make sure you use that your ladybug version is 0.0.69 not

0.0.68.

My charts are placing on top of each other and i don't know how to move them

This is what my grasshopper looks like

Create a new point in Rhino and “set basepoint” for each graph.

See p.19 of the workflow pdf.

My link is not working and it is from the “download all” - copy link address and i added the “//” before it

10

A: The address you are copying is wrong. You don’t need the //, I think you are copying the epw address.

Right-click on “All” and copy link address. See next slide

When I bake the ”Preview” node in GH, text comes out huge.

Please check your file units, if it is not in Meters please change it.

If the issue remains let me know.

When you export as AI you will be able to resize in Illustrator too.

I can’t seem to extract the exact monthly mean value from this code / I tried adding a panel to read the data but it doesn’t work

You will have to do some mathematical calculations. You can do it manually or if you prefer to do it in Grasshopper use this guide.

First break the data by month then sum the values up and divide them by how many numbers.

LB Analysis Period

LB Apply Analysis Period

LB Deconstruct Data

Mass Addition

List Length

Division

Slider from 1 to 12 to filter the data by month

That’s very helpful, thanks!

Lab 5: Sensors and Psychrometric Data Mapping in Rudolph Hall

For importing the CSV file of sensors from Rudolph Hall I get this error message:

It seems AndrewMarsh needs a full year of data so please use these CSV files, each sensor data has been imported and modified in a csv template. So you can simply download them now.

This has been added to the lab brief for ease. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WF3UL_uKN4SG6LlwZVIIWlaLCzzmF07Y/view

How to make the parameters the same across every graph? When change min/max for one graph, it seems to change it for all the graphs, which doesn’t make sense as they are wildly different min/max values?
