Academic Advising

-Grade Support, Special Accomodations, Class Scheduling, Graduation Status, College Entrance Requirements

College & Career Development

-Internship opportunities, Dual Enrollment, Post-Secondary options

Social/Emotional Support

-We support students with personal concerns including navigating high school, friendships, relationships, and mental health

-San Marin offers free therapy services on campus through Bay Area Community Resources (BACR). Referrals are available through your student’s Counselor.

How can your Counselor help you?

  • Students can fill out a Counselor Request Form, QR Code located in the Counseling Office or on their doors
  • Students can email their Counselor to request a meeting
  • Counselors are available to meet with students on a drop-in basis
  • Parents may request to meet with a Counselor by scheduling an appointment via Counselor email or phone call: (415) 898-2123

Credits= 5/class/semester, 10/year; 220 needed to graduate

E - Language Other Than English: 2 years (3 years recommended for UC)

F - Visual or Performing Arts- 1 year

G - College Prep Elective- 1 year

CSU- 2.5 minimum GPA

UC- 3.0 minimum GPA

Wellness Hub

  • The Wellness Hub (room 301) is a safe place where all students can access mental and physical health resources and support.
  • Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00�am - 4:00 pm.
  • Students can access the Wellness Hub through:
    • Brain breaks
    • Referrals (submitted by themselves, parents/guardians, or staff)

    • Utilize this time to get extra support from your teacher

    • Tuesday from 7th period - 5pm – English support
