AP Information

  • AP courses are designated for “weighted” grades. An additional 1.00 of grade points is added for a weighted course for grades of A (Advanced) through C/D (Elements of Beginning and Approaching).

  • AP courses offer the opportunity to take an optional AP exam at the end of the year. These exams do cost money. If families are not able to make full payments, an application will be made available and cases will be reviewed by the building principal. Individual payment plans will also be made available. The building administrator may consider reducing the AP testing fee. Fees will be waived for homeless and indigent students, or students who qualify for free and reduced lunch, according to district definition and state and federal laws.
