What Is RaiseRight ®?

A Fundraiser based on

  • Selling Gift Cards to the Public
  • Members buying Gift Cards and eGift Cards
  • A percentage of every gift card sold goes to our club

  • Each retailer sets the rebate percentage which will be paid to the club, ranging from 1% to 19%

  • RaiseRight recommends sharing the rebate with those who sold or bought the gift cards to incentivize sales/purchases
  • Your Club will decide what % it will retain and what % will be shared

How Can We Use What We Earn?

Kiwanis Club of Southport-Oak Island

  • For purchases of gift cards by our members and their families:
      • 100% of net earnings from the program will benefit the Administrative Fund
      • Net funds earned will be identified by member and 100% may be used to reduce their dues invoice dollar for dollar. (Note that some members opted to donate their net earnings to the club and not take the reduction in dues.)
  • For any sales made to the public, if the club decides to do so, net funds earned will benefit the service fund.

  • For purchases of gift cards by our members and their families:

  • For any sales made to the public, if the club decides to do so, net funds earned will benefit our service fund

Traditional Gift Cards

  • Orders collected by Club and ordered with a flat fee
    • Cards are mailed to Club (Frequency of such purchases will be determined based on club member demand)
    • Coordinator distributes cards to anyone who purchased them
    • Flat fee for shipping and handling of:
      • $10.50 (UPS Ground – 2 business days in NC and SC)
      • $16.00 (Next Day – afternoon)
      • $16.75 (Next Day Air – by noon in some areas)
    • Club collects payment from buyers
    • Customized Family Order Form can be used to collect orders

Traditional Gift Cards

  • Orders made directly by participating families�(via website or RaiseRight App)
  • Cards that are “Ship to Home Eligible” are generally �mailed directly to families
    • Convenience fee of $0.29
    • Handling fee of $0.50 per card ordered (max of 16 cards)
    • Shipping fee of $0.50 (US Mail) or $11 (UPS Ground) or $16 (UPS Next Day Air)
      • Orders with gift card value over $500 must use a UPS option
    • Payment made directly by family using credit card or ACH

  • Other card orders are held until released by Administrator and are then shipped as if ordered by the Club (includes orders for which member indicates �“Pay Coordinator Directly” – no convenience fee, but subject to shipping cost)

eGift Cards

  • Orders made and paid directly by participating families using the RaiseRight app on their smartphone
    • eCards are delivered to “wallet” in app in minutes
    • Payment made directly by family using credit card or ACH
      • Convenience fee of $0.29 per order (not per card)
      • Convenience fee of 2.6% added when credit cards are used
      • Convenience fee of 1% added when debit cards are used

eGift Cards

  • Orders made directly by participating families using the RaiseRight app on their smartphone but paid for later directly to coordinator
    • Payment made directly to coordinator by check or cash
    • eCards are delivered to “wallet” or via email after the order is released by coordinator and payment made by the club to RaiseRight

Note:�This method provides eGift cards for no fees and no need to share bank or credit card information with anyone. There is, however, a delay in having access to the eGift cards purchased.

  • Purchase gift cards which are “ship to home eligible” from RaiseRight ® website or the RaiseRight ® app and ship directly to you OR whomever you choose (you know, for gifts!)

  • Purchase eGift cards from RaiseRight ® website or the RaiseRight ® app and email directly to whomever you choose.
  • Recipient gets an email with eGift card information to print and use at vendor.

How Do We Start? (Club)

  • Identify a Coordinator(s)
  • Register Your Club at: RaiseRight.com/enroll
  • Information needed to register:
    • Club “K” number (e.g.K14291)
    • Club name and address
    • Tax ID Number
    • Copy of Bank Statement

  • Open an account using your Club’s�enrollment code
    • On website – RaiseRight.com
    • Using RaiseRight App
    • Use your smart phone and the QR code provided to them by the Club Coordinator(s)
