Dr. E. De’Vaughn Weaver is a Jersey City native and lifelong advocate for educational equity. With over 16 years of experience in K–16 education, he has served in key roles supporting underserved students, including as Director of the EOF Program and now Director of the Center for Student Persistence and Success. He teaches courses on Black identity and hip-hop at Rutgers University and is a dedicated mentor to young men in Jersey City and Newark.
