THE VISION: WHAT WE INTEND TO CREATE

Goal: The district will continue to meet and exceed a 90% goal of screening all students before they enter kindergarten.

Result: We were able to screen 100% of the incoming students entering kindergarten for this school year 2025-26.

Goal: By the spring of 2026, the district will continue to reduce the achievement gap for those students identified as economically disadvantaged in both math and reading.

Result: Summary of MCA Math and Reading Achievement Scores Overall (2021,22,23, 24, 25):

Goal: By the end of 2026 school year, our district will increase the overall student attendance rate to 80%, with a continued goal of reaching 85% by year 2028 ensuring students are engaged and on track for college and career readiness.

Result: Our overall student attendance rate (K-12) attending consistently at a 90% level for 2024 was 78.9%.

Goal: By the end of 2026 school year, our district will maintain a 90% graduation rate or build on our 93.8% rate in 2024, with consistent supports and resources for all students.

Goal: By the spring of 2027, 65% of (7-12) high school students will be able to communicate their recognized strengths/skills they have learned at Cromwell – Wright HS and how they are ready for their next step as measured by the district’s survey/interview highlighting their personalized learning plan.

Result: We are already gaining momentum this year 2025-26 by reviewing student data as a HS team (7-12). We are focused on student supports, programming to ensure academic success, and family engagement.
