The Mood Meter was developed by the © Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. The vertical axis is ENERGY, and the horizontal axis is PLEASANTNESS.

RED emotions = high energy, low pleasantness (e.g., frustrated, anxious)
BLUE emotions = low energy, low pleasantness (e.g., disappointed, sad)
GREEN emotions = low energy, high pleasantness (e.g., calm, grateful)
YELLOW emotions = high energy, high pleasantness (e.g., happy, excited)

This GIF Mood Meter template was developed by staff at the St. Croix River Education District, and this particular work (i.e., the GIFs selected) was also developed by Nic van Oss, a staff member at the St. Croix River Education District.
