Waiting on AmazonOil on Wood Panel48 X 36”$ 1500This peaceful landscape was inspired by Frederic Remington's Nocturnal paintings of Cowboys and Indians. I aimed to create a quiet setting, a place not even an Amazon delivery could find. The limited color palette lends a feeling of seclusion.

Brothers in the BluesOil on Canvas24 X 30”$ 600
The focus was on the concept of Music bridging gaps, bringing people together. People gather to play and listen to music with strangers. Buddy Guy and Junior Wells were Chicago Bluesmen who loved each other, like brothers. My objective was to concentrate on the essence of close friendships, ignoring fine details to allow the strength of bold color representing strong friendships formed by the common appreciation of music..
The Minister of New New Super Heavy funkOil on Canvas
48 X 72”$ 2800The late 1970s were challenging for James Brown, who began to emulate fellow artists while mostly staying true to himself. While he may have been overshadowed by his contemporaries, he survived with numerous comebacks. This oil on canvas is of JB during 1978, performing hits from Jam 1980s,a forgotten album. Mustache James was in full creative force with the world's greatest band. My theory of the lightning bolt is that James was staying relevant in a world dominated by Disco, Parliament and KISS. James didn't take a backseat to anyone.
