This is not the complete triangle. In fact, it goes on at infinitum. What’s the pattern? I asked a lot of questions to try to get to know you better. I also asked you to reflect on how mathematics was involved in the things you enjoy. Many of the responses were akin to “not at all”. One of my main objectives this year has been to help you develop an understanding of just how much mathematics impacts our daily lives--even many of our interests. How successful was I? Have I expanded your mathematical world view? Did I fail to make a connection between mathematics and something you like/love? If so, let me know.
