Sougia destinations
Sougia is a great starting point to visit Omalos gorge, also known as Samaria gorge or ksyloskaloksyloskalo (Greek: Ξυλόσκαλο προς Σούγια), from the Greek work (wooden step) or a ferry starting point for the villages on the Southern Crete.
Some of the neighboring villages worth a visit are Paleochora, Chora Sfakion, Kantanos, Temenia, Maza, Spina.

Samaria Gorge
