  • Add ISTE website to your Bookmarks Bar and Edit the title, so it just shows the icon (no words).

  • Pin the tab to the training center website
  • Open a new Incognito Window - Why?

  • Create a subfolder called “Practice”

  • Write a sentence on your doc suggesting how you might use a shared document this school year.
  • Share the “Practice” folder with someone at your table/group. Change the permissions to “Can Edit”.
  • Change the color of your folder to red or yellow
  • Go to Settings in Google Drive.

  • Use the Explore feature to search for an appropriate image about Level 1 certification
  • Insert the image
  • COMMENT on why you might benefit from being Level 1 certified
  • In the COMMENT, ASSIGN someone at your table to the task of completing the exam by typing in their email after a + symbol.
  • Change the share setting to “Anyone with the link can view”

  • Create a new Slides called “My Playground for Level 1”
  • Insert a WordArt Title on the title slide
    • Try to center the title in the exact middle...Hint: use the red lines to help.
  • Add 3 more slides
  • On Slide 2, insert an image of your favorite Google Tool
    • Add a text box and type your favorite Sonic drink, change the Font and Size.
  • On Slide 3, insert a YouTube video on Google Sheets Basics
  • On Slide 4, insert an arrow and another shape of your choice
    • Try rotating these shapes. You can rotate text boxes too!
  • Add text to one of the shapes
  • Hyperlink the other shape to the ISTE home page

  • Add the following column headers: Name, Chpt 1, Chpt 2, Chpt 3
  • Freeze this row (Row 1)
  • Add 5 students under column A (Give them a first and last name)
  • Add grades for each student for each chapter
  • Sort the sheet by Column A (names) in ascending order (A-Z)
  • Add a column to the right of Column A and split the column text so Column A is first name and Column B is last name.
  • Make a different formula after each students grades. (=SUM, =AVG, =COUNT)
