Care for your chromebook

  1. Close Chromebook immediately when asked by your teacher!
  2. Pick up my chromebook with two hands.
  3. Log into chromebook only as myself and never share my passwords or login information.
  4. Always log off of my chromebook before placing it into the cart.
  5. Plug it in and tuck in the cord.
  6. Use chromebook only for assigned tasks.
  7. Always treat technology with respect.
  8. Always keep my chromebook safe from food and drink.�

1. Pick up assigned chromebook from the cart

2. Carry your chromebook to your desk using two hands

3. Place your chromebook on the desk

4. Open your chromebook only after you are seated at your desk

Right-click: Click the touchpad with two fingers.

Click: Just press down on the lower half of the touchpad.

Scroll: Place two fingers on the touchpad

Your Google Drive keeps all your folders and files.

You can create a new Folder in Google Drive

click CREATE

click FOLDER

Name FOLDER

Your first name-last name initial

  2. Name one My Logins and Passcodes

1. You can see folder with your name in your drive

Click on it

2. You can see the name of the folder on the top of the page

3. Click on the arrow next to the name

4. Click on Share

  1. Click on a new tab
  2. Click on the word MAIL (top right)

  • Click the red Compose button.
  • Enter my name or email address in the To: field.
  • Enter Why I’m Doing Summer School in the Subject field.
  • Write: A fully developed paragraph that explains why you are doing summer school.
  • This is worth 20 Points!

Logging Out of your chromebook

1. Log out of your chromebook.

2. Shut down your chromebook.

2. Close your chromebook to show that you are ready to leave.

Returning your chromebook

  1. When your row is called, carry your chromebook (two hands) to the cart.
  2. Plug in the chord and then place the chromebook onto the shelf, tucking in the cord!
