Benefits of using Lingokids in the ESL classroom
Provides exposure to the language while children are playing and having fun, promoting intrinsic motivation
The content and language integrated activities provide an immersive learning experience across a full subject curriculum creating a fuller, more natural experience
We focus on the whole child - our content develops academic skills, as well as the physical body, social skills, emotional learning and global responsibility
Exposure to a foreign language and native accents at an early age makes it easier to learn as the brain is still forming and boosts cognitive development
Content is created in formats that children enjoy: games, songs, dances, stories etc which makes them want to come back and learn more
We have content that builds vocabulary as well as practises the four key skills of reading, listening, writing and speaking
If used in pairs or small groups, it can promote social development and interaction as they learn to share and take turns
Children are happy to play alone leaving the teacher free to assist other children

You can ‘explore’ by subject…
For example, if you click on Physical Activity, you will see physical activity related activities
Each subject is categorised into ‘New’ activities and ‘Best’ activities (i.e. the most popular ones)
You can also filter so you can only show videos or only games, or by our top activities

Children can play individually or in pairs/groups to develop sharing skills
As a hook activity for a specific subject

Use the Extra Content feature to read an audiobook story to the class
Tablet station that children rotate around (if limited number of tablets)
Use the Explore Feature to do Physical Activity together as a class
Use the Explore feature to search for content in a specific subject if teaching that topic
Parents can use free version at home to continue learning at home (unlimited accounts for parents to be discussed)
Have a friendly competition - how many new words can they learn in 15 minutes?
Use the Explore feature to choose letter formation and handwriting activities to practise Latin alphabet
Use songs for transition times/fillers to incorporate English into their day
