Context and Problem

  • Elementary school with a high percentage of students living below the poverty line.
  • The primary goal of this organization is to enhance student learning and growth at the elementary level.
  • The administrative structure follows a top-down approach to ensure academic success

  • Many of the behaviors that are being seen in classrooms make it hard for teachers to complete lessons and disciplinary actions up until this point have seemed to have no impact on behaviors of students
