Sport Fit Activities

Academic Programming

  • Students meet academic requirements (minutes) for Core subjects (LA, Math, Science, Social) consistent with all Edmonton Public Schools
  • Optional subjects such as Art and Music are embedded into Core programming
  • Students attend homerooms in their cohorts

Sports Alternative Programming

Grades 3-6

  • 3 afternoons/ week
  • M, W, F, (from 1:00pm-3:15pm and often from 12:15pm-3:15pm)
  • 4 cohorted groups of ~20-25 students in grades 3-6

Grading and Evaluations

  • OUTCOME A - SKILL DEVELOPMENT 10%
  • OUTCOME B - FITNESS 10%
  • OUTCOME C - SPORTSMANSHIP 40%
  • OUTCOME D - PARTICIPATION 40%

*Students are evaluated on outcomes from the Alberta Physical Education and Health Program of Studies

Registration and Tuition

  • Registration - 2 STEP PROCESS
  • Tuition and Monthly Installments
    • Tuition is $1900 for the year and can be paid in monthly/quarterly installments
    • Tuition covers clothing, transportation to and from activities, rental equipment, venue fees, and additional instruction
