Measurable

So what do you want to achieve?

Let's walk you through your goal!

Specific

The goal should be very precise with no room for misinterpretation.

What metrics are you going to use to determine if you meet the goal? Progress should be easy to track.

Achievable

The goal should be attainable. Do you have the skills needed to achieve the goal? if not how can you attain them?

Realistic

The goal can be realistically achieved given the available resources and time.

Time-bound

If the goal is not time-constrained, there will be no sense of urgency and, therefore, less motivation to achieve the goal.
