  • How are AP/Honors courses advertised in your building, to students, to parents?
  • Invite students to explore AP courses.
  • Consider Honors as a “stepping stone” for AP.
  • Be intentional.
  • Emphasize AP is about depth NOT more work.
  • Personalized registration appointments to determine future coursework is important.
  • Conversations among students and current and prospective teachers is key.
