What is Canvas?

Canvas is our online classroom. Here you can:

Student Login with Computer or Laptop:

When logging into the account use the username and password provided by your child’s school.
Always go to https://clever.com/in/fergflor/

Parent Login with Computer or Laptop:

Create an account and view multiple children in one location. ***Pairing code require per child.
Always go to fergflor.instructure.com

Accessing Canvas with an App

Parent Login with App:

Click on Account on the top left of the screen
Click on QR for Mobile Login
Using your Canvas Parent app, scan the QR Code on your child’s screen. This QR code is unique to your child.

What is Zoom?

Zoom is a website that lets us meet online. It’s like Facetiming, but instead of one person, you get to meet with your whole class!

How do I join a Zoom meeting?

Zoom meetings can be joined by:

An “invitation link” will be sent to you by email or linked to your class in Canvas on the “Zoom” button
You can click on the hyperlinked invitation link from your email or click on the “Zoom” button in your class and it will take you the Zoom website.
You must have a meeting id and password to join the meeting.
You can find the meeting id and password in the email or at the top of your class in “Announcements”.

How do I use the buttons in a Zoom meeting?

When you enter your Zoom meeting you will see a screen with navigation buttons like the image below.
