Resize a Saved Image in Mac

If you need to resize an image you have saved, there is a setting under Tools that allows you to Adjust Size. When you select the “Adjust size” option, the Image Dimensions window appears. The image dimensions you insert into the "Adjust Size" tool determine the size of the image. The first option, “Fit into," allows you to choose from predetermined dimensions for the image. The next option allows you to enter custom sizes for both the width and height using different units of measurements, such as pixels or inches. It's important to remember that when you choose larger dimension values, the size of the image file increases.

Next, choose the resolution, which determines the overall quality of the image. A larger value means that the image quality is better, and the file size is larger. This value represents the number of pixels per square inch. The resolution you choose can depend on the purpose of the image. Click OK and your images will be resized. Remember to save them to your computer so that you can upload them to the Authoring system.
