The Enrichment Team has created a Bingo card of educational activities pertaining to our subject areas for you to complete together as a family during this time of online learning. Please select one activity each day and any extras as you wish. You can make bingo vertical, horizontal, diagonal, an x or +.

STEM Read this article about Earth Day. Write down or discuss with a family member 3 things you learned and 1 question you still have. | MUSIC Think about the rhythm elements you know. Now write two 4 beat rhythms but DON’T use paper and pencil! Play the 2 rhythms with a ‘found’ percussion instrument (that’s anything you find around the house.) Take a picture and share with lopezc@cfbisd.edu | PE Challenge a family member in a “minute to win it” game. Located in the Rainwater Google Site > Enrichment > PE > CFB Phys Ed teacher videos (Fab 5 YouTube) | STEM Create a poster about ways that you can help take care of the earth! | ART Drawing Challenge Draw with 2 markers at one time. |
PE Use a balloon, beachball, or fill a ziplock bag with air and practice striking it in the air. Count how many strikes you were able to do! Repeat! Challenge a family member! | ART Draw the best water park you can imagine. | MUSIC Listen to a piece of music and see how many different locomotor movements you can think of to keep the beat. Then see how many non-locomotor movements you can use with the same song. | STEM Find out what happens to trash! If you can’t print and cut, then read the steps and write them in order. | |
ART Attend the STEAM lesson this week and share your creation on social media. | PE If you only had a pillow, a towel, a stick of some sort, and a rope of some sort, figure out a way to get from one room of your house to the other using only those items. Take a video or picture of your creation or pathway! | LIBRARY April is National Poetry Month. Complete the magnetic poetry challenge in your Seesaw or Google Classroom. | STEM Don’t throw that away! Find something that you were going to throw away and reuse it by making it into something new. | MUSIC Sing “Ida Red” with Mrs. Lopez on your Google Drive or SeeSaw. Make up your own verses and teach them to someone else. Be sure and write it down! |

DId you know the average person makes 4 pounds of trash a day? Talk you someone at home about how you can make less trash. | ART Draw the 1st letter of your name as a bubble letter and design the inside with Zentangles. | PE Create a target and practice either throwing or tossing sock balls using the “tik-tok step and rock” or “ring ring, hello, I want to talk to you” method. | PE Follow along with a cosmic kids yoga video located in the Rainwater Google Site > Enrichment > PE > Outside Resources |

Use the link to check off what you find. | ART Wearable Art Make something you can wear. (necklace, bracelet, tie dye shirt | MUSIC Use a water or Gatorade bottle to make a musical instrument. It can be either percussion, woodwind, or string, depending on how you modify. Use your new instruments to play the rhythm to a song you know. |
