General Information

  • Uniforms should be neat and tidy with shirts tucked in when applicable
  • Uniforms should be washed often and be free of holes, stains
  • Earrings for girls - no larger than a dime, no hoops, no bangles
  • Jewelry - one bracelet, one watch, one religious necklace
  • Face and eye make-up as well as nail polish are not permitted
  • Boys Hair: no longer than top of collar, above eyebrow and middle of ear; no shaved heads or faux hawks, no shaved patterns, no hair dye
  • Girls Hair: Simple hair accessories, no dyes

Fall/Spring Uniform

  • With fall/spring weather, students do have the option to continue to wear blue pants, tights/ & sweatpants as part of their uniform.
  • All information regarding uniforms can be found in IHM Student Handbook, located on the IHM School Website
  • Please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher or main office with any questions

Gym/Physical Education Uniform

These are purchased at Flynn & O’Hara

  • Preschool and Kindergarten students wear this everyday
  • Students wear their PE/gym uniform ONLY on the day(s) they have PE with Ms. Bennett
  • MUST wear the IHM sweatpants with logo along with the IHM t-shirt with logo
  • IHM sweatshirt with logo is optional but it is the only required sweatshirt that students can wear throughout the school day
  • Tennis shoes/sneakers are worn with the gym uniform

Fall/Spring Uniform:

Girls in Grades 1-5

  • Navy blue skort or shorts with length no shorter than two inches above knee
  • White polo shirt or white blouse with Peter Pan collar
  • Socks: solid white or navy crew socks with NO logos (above ankle in length), or solid white or navy knee high socks
  • Shoes: Solid brown/black/tan shoe or saddle shoe (same as winter uniform shoes)
  • All girls will wear tennis shoes on PE/gym days only

  • Light blue Oxford button down shirt
  • Socks: solid white or navy crew socks with NO logos (above ankle in length), or solid white or navy knee high socks
  • Shoes: Solid brown/black/tan shoe or saddle shoe (same as winter uniform shoes)
  • All girls will tennis shoes on PE/gym days only
