C&DCC – Top priorities

  1. Renovate the Couper Institute and the public realm outside.
  2. New Pitch for Merrylee Primary.
  3. Merrylee Park – upgrade.
  4. Holmlea Park - bio-diversity (orchard trees/wildflowers), better maintenance.
  5. Regular street cleaning - pavements/leaves/communal areas.
  6. Improve roads – potholes.
  7. Low-cost regular events/activities for teenagers/youth club.
  8. Events for older adults including volunteering.

Online Survey

  • The survey was run through Microsoft Forms.
  • It asked participants to rank the top 7 priorities in order of 1-7.
    • Street cleaning and road maintenance were combined.
  • There was an option for highlighting ‘other’ issues.
  • The survey was open from 16 January – 3 February.
  • The survey was promoted via Facebook and to our mailing list of 238 people.
  • It received 520 responses in total.
  • 224 comments identified and coded
