Triple Science
Overview
Triple Science is a course where students study Biology, Chemistry and Physics as three separate subjects, each leading to its own GCSE qualification. The course is designed for students who enjoy science and want to explore how the natural and physical world works in more depth. Lessons combine learning key scientific ideas with practical experiments, problem-solving and real-world applications, helping students develop curiosity, logical thinking and confidence in using scientific evidence.

Triple Science
How is it assessed?
Exam board AQA
There will be six exams at the end of Year 11 (two Biology, two Chemistry and two Physics). Students will carry out set required practicals throughout the GCSE course and their knowledge of these will be assessed in the final exams (worth 15%).
Paper 1 and Paper 2 for each of Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
All papers will include multiple choice, structured, closed short answer and open response questions.
