WIN Expectations

  1. WIN periods remain quiet and productive. If your assignments are complete, review notes for an upcoming test or quiz, read your novel, update your agenda with assignments and projects, or chunk upcoming projects into manageable pieces for completion. Use your time wisely.
  2. Headphones are permitted with teacher discretion. Ask the teacher if you are required for an assignment.
  3. Partner work. You must attempt the homework on your own before working with a partner. Ask for permission before working with a partner. Partner work is not copying a friends answers or dividing the work in half. Partners must work quietly so as not to distract others.
  4. All students must be in their seats and quiet for dismissal. Do not line up at the door or run out as buses are called. Wait for all buses to be called once before leaving your seat.
  5. We will read for the first 10 minutes of each WIN period.

This will begin the second week of school. Please be prepared with a book or borrow one from your teacher’s library.
